At the age of 14, Rino Greggio started as an apprentice in the laboratories of a silversmith’s in Padua. There, he learnt the secrets of this ancient craft and understood this would be his lifelong job.
After the war, he bought his first kilo of silver plate and founded, in 1948, the Greggio group with two employees with whom he worked once. The Greggio group silverware is an Italian leading manufacturer of many silversmith brands such as “Olri”. Leading brand in the production of silver plate flatware, “Olri” was founded in 1968 by the group.This Italian brand produces cutlery such as forks, spoons and knives in silver plate but also baby cups.
